The washer was delivered on November 22 2023 and the parts were not included. Today is December 5 2023 and havent used it yet as it is not hooked up. Running out of clean clothes towels bedding. Called LG and were told the included accessories were on back order and would receive them on December 6. They also said I would receive an email with the tracking number havent received that yet well see how that goes. Ask me again after I get my parts and actually get to use the washing machine.

I wouldnt recommend this washer it builds mold doesnt get clothes clean. .The drained hose gets holes in them .Very difficult to replace u have to order it on line .lowes doesnt sell these hose in their store. Highly not recommended this washer. Lowes had to look in spare parts only way they get the hose I need.. This washer isnt in their stores anymore

I loved this machine for 2 1/2 years and then the main baring broke. LG was very nice about it and offered to cover the most of the cost of our original machine but Im still out money. Now I have to buy a new machine at a higher price and had to pay a repair man $170 to tell me that the machine could not be fixed. I expected this machine to at least last 7 to 10 years. With all the concerns about the environment these machines should last 20 years instead of filling up our landfills.

POOR PRODUCT WARRANTY USELESS DISSATISFIED

This is the WORST product I have ever purchased. I have had issues with the washer SHAKING LEAKING FLOODING. The consumer should NOT have to purchase a NEW washer every 1-3 years. LG is NOT standing behind the parts and labor of what is malfuctioning on their product and this is a breach of contract and taking advantage of its customers. I tried to get this washer fixed and LG could not find my purchase information that I jad registered. I finally got a representative via CHAT who was able to see the information and I was able to obtain the screenshot after almost 3 years run around. Homedepot also had no purchase information in their online system. During such times as these LG should fix or replace my washer. I am curious how I received this email and no other correspondence within the past 3 years of complete disappoinment and utter inconvenience. I hope to hear from some to address my POOR rating and DO THE RIGHT THING and stand ny your WHOLE product NOT BITS AND PIECES.

Neew washer broken with terrible customer service

Had the machine delivered September 1st 2023 and it was professionally installed. On November 6th 2023 it suddenly stopped working and was giving an error code. The motor is already shot and needs to be replaced. This washer is only used for one person. I reached out to LG as this falls under the general warranty. I did some troubleshooting on the phone with them and advised them of the error code that was coming up. From what I saw online and going through troubleshooting with LGs customer service it was definitely the motor and the service representative confirmed this. LG arranged for a service tech to come to my home to repair it. This took about a week to get a repair person to my home. When the service tech showed up he couldnt fix it because he didnt have the parts. I was very irritated that the parts werent in hand since they already confirmed what the issue was during troubleshooting. So the parts were ordered and a new appointment was scheduled for two weeks later. I mean this left me going to the laundromat for 3 weeks which everyone knows is a pain in the you know what. LG issued me a tracking number for the parts ordered and they were delivered to my house. I then had to call them waiting on hold forever to confirm the parts arrived before the service tech came for the second appointment. When the service tech returned for the second appointment not all of the parts were in the box and one of the parts hadnt been actually ordered and the repair could not be completed. At this point I am pretty miffed. I reached out to LG again on hold forever and they said the part would be ordered and would ship on Friday. This was on a Tuesday. I told the customer service rep that this was unacceptable and I wanted to part to be overnighted as it had already been over 3 weeks with no washing machine. The rep told me that it could only ship out on Friday. At this point I asked to speak with a supervisor as I did not think that this was too big of an ask to have it overnighted. The rep put me on hold again for a really long time but there was not a supervisor available. She told me that a supervisor would call me back. It is now Thursday 2 and a half days later and I still have not heard from anyone. I am currently sitting at the laundromat and LG sent me an email to review their productwell here you go everyone. Worst customer service for a practically brand new washer. Never buying LG again based on the incredibly poor customer service.

Seems a bit noisy. Could be the install from Home Depot the two guys were terrible and I had to go buy additional parts. They also left pieces in place that said remove before use and there are pieces missing from the back.

I purchased this right at 2 years ago. Have already had to have it repaired. Now its making a grinding sound on start up. It doesnt wash the greatest either. As its in agitating it actually more of a slow spin rather than agitate back and forth. Also I dont think it uses as much water as it should. Can barely see water in it.

Circuit board and drain valve both broke within the first month and dealing with warranty claim/repair now and it is a painful process. Takes days to get an appointment and it is a wide window. They missed the first window so we had to reschedule and I am still waiting on them to provide a new day/time. Overall would not recommend especially if installing stacked as the warranty repair company will not touch a stacked unit so I have to hire a handyman to unstack them for the repairs to be complet3e and then come back to re-stack and reconnect after the repairs are completed. Meaning this washer which broke in the first month is costing me almost double because it broke. Doesnt seem fair and customer service is not helpful.

I chose LG because of its overall reputation. On the 14th load of washing my LG washer inexplicably drained into the pedestal filling it ruining everything stored there and overflowed into the laundry room. Reaching someone for help took five phone calls and 44 minutes before reaching someone who could help. I was told LG would have to first send someone to first determine if it was an installation problem. That took another six days. No installation problem was found and the inspector wrote replace washing machine. I waited. Six days later I went to Home Depot where the very helpful appliance manager spent 40 minutes on the phone talking to several different people trying to get someone to take responsibility Finally LG said they had to send someone to repair it. Five more days went by. The repairman/technician was very knowledgeable and very thorough. He basically dismantled the machine looking for the problem but could not find one. I presented photos of the flooded compartment laundry room and hoses used to syphon the water out of the pedestal. He could not find a problem. He ran a short load. No problem He pronounced it as usable and assured me it should be fine. He also told me to never never open the little door on the front of the washer to drain the little hose the manual specifically says this must be done regularly. Really? Now Im afraid to do it and afraid not to Ive done five loads since the flooding and have had no problem. Do I feel confident about this machine? Reservedly. It hasnt flooded yet but Im constantly worried that it might My worst fear? That it malfunctions again and I have to deal with the horrible customer service and the nearly month-long wait for resolution. Would I recommend LG? By all accounts it is a superior product TVs washers dryers and more but the customer service sucks. Kudos to Reginald LG repairman who spent 1.5 hours trying to find out why my washing machine flooded. I have plenty of photos but there is no clear way to include them

The washing machines manual was unclear on how to do certain things. The cleaning is good but often a second rinse is required to clear all soap from the load. Also the machine is not very reliable. The door lock went requiring repairs that cost almost 1/3 of what the machine originally cost. I dont think Ill buy an LG washing machine again.

I placed the order on October 30th to have a washer delivered. I have had in the past Lowes deliver a refrigerator a dishwasher a range a microwave to our house with no problems. They now tell me the truck they sent out was too big for the road. So I have to wait until they can get a smaller truck. By the way Amazon delivers here. Garbage trucks are able to use the road. Last summer we had an outdoor wall constructed which meant quite large trucks used the road. I guess Lowes has extremely large trucks so I am still waiting for their delivery.

Is it worthy of 5 Stars? maybe. But since it is new and used only a handful of times I can only fairly give 4 Stars. PROs: First beautiful machine installation easy very quiet Love that the options of washing times water temp settings spin only these are a BIG PLUS. . etc. Load capacity is good. So far my only CON is: this large center dial button is it obvious yes but it sticks out in my opinion too far. I think that it could be damaged or broken easily due to that.

Bad Washer design regarding temp selections

The unit has started smelling of slight smoke when operating. First my spouse noticed and then I did. There is no interference with the rotation of the drum in either direction. On this item were taking a wait and see approach which seems reasonable. The unit has 5 different wash temperature selections. Despite this its incapable of using the 100 hot feed water. Ive checked the feed flow for hot and cold. Theres plenty of both. The hot feed is plenty hot but the machine dilutes it with some cold. When I want hot sanitary wash for white clothes by golly I want it to use 100 hot feed water. I dont want this lukewarm wishy-washy crap. The machine seems to be designed wrong since it cant run hot not even using the hottest selection on the machines panel. Its a lousy design that needs immediate correction. Or its not made to proper specifications. Either way its marginal. LG needs to start long term work on this.

Had washer 6 months and it started making a horrible grinding noise. Called LG because its still under warranty. Took 3 weeks for repairman to come out. A screw had backed out and and damaged several things on the washer. The repairman said they have to order parts and will take another 2 to 3 weeks. I have already spent quite a bit at the laundry mat and will have another 3 weeks expense. The repairman said it will probably be over $500 repair and we only paid $615 for the washer but LG will not authorize us to return the washer and get a new one. I have spent hours on the phone scheduling service calls and I am still without an operating washing machine. Very unhappy customer.

Terrible Experience with LG

I bought this washer and paid for it to be delivered and installed. The installer pushed the start button and made sure the washer came on but only for a few seconds. I put in a full load immediately and pushed the star button the washer came on but never would spin. I ran a full cycle and it never would turn all the way over the tub just sat and rocked back and forth at the bottom. It stopped after about 20 minutes and I couldnt get it to do anything else. I called the LG phone immediately this is like 2 hrs after installation. After 30 minutes on the phone - about 2 minutes talking to a robot and then being transferred 3 times and finally hung up on. I gave up. I was so mad During the phone call I was asked for a number where I could be reached but no one ever called back. Ive been out of town on a previously scheduled trip since the day after the delivery and Ill try LG again when Im back but I will never buy another LG product - just because of my terrible experience with their help line. I hate phone answering robots When I was finally transferred to a human that person immediately transferred me to someone else. This happened three times I used to think LG appliances were better than average but when you get a lemon and then cant even talk to anyone to get help that tells you something about that company I also dont like having to agree to onerous terms and conditions like is required by this survey. But I did read and agree this time - on the off chance that anyone at LG cares about their customers.

Washer is leaking from door seal I had went online like they asked to fill a request to fix and it went in answered for weeks. Two times I called in and didnt get the option to speak with anyone. I had finally found a number with asurion. They finally got me to live representative and I was hung up on by the first one. Second one has tried to help me best they can but I am told theres no providers in my area to fix my washer and they still havent given me a solution.

Our previous LG washer had a short cycle feature that worked great. This does NOT. The short cycle doesnt get everything even wet much less cleaned. The shortest cycle Ive found is 58 minutes. Some cycles take THREE hours way too long for a family of 5 on laundry day.

This washer has all the features and cycles that Im likely to use except for the Drain and Spin cycle which I used once or twice in the 20 years I had my previous LG washer. The washer has same direct drive motor and warranty as the other more expensive models with cycles and features I never used on my previous washer. About the only downside is the short used waste water hose. I had to add about 1.5 feet to that the my installation much easier than opening the back and completely replacing the house with a longer one. This was not a problem for me but something that might be an issue for others who dont have their washer placed essentially DIRECTLY in front of the house drain pipe.

Excellent washer .... With one small problem

This washer has been working out very well except for one small but frustrating design flaw. The detergent drawer had to begin to leak after a year of use. Contacted LG customer service and they patiently walked me through steps to alleviate the problem. After performing all the steps that LG suggested to eliminate the issue it was still a problem. I was able to determine that there is a small gap where the detergent drawer cavity and the outer portion of the washer meet allowing moisture from the process of water mixing with detergent and filling the tub to escape the drawer and run down the side of the unit.

Very unhappy with the LG washer. The top load washed and spun so hard water came out from under the top lid. Bought the front load. It also washes and spins very hard. The setting doesnt matter..They all are made very light weight now.

Worst Purchase and Experience ever.

I purchased this washer over a couple of months ago and I have been having issues with it. No one wants to take the accountability to fix it or replace my washer. It is not washing the clothes correctly. The clothes come out stink or unwashed.

This replaces my old washer that died. I love it because it matches my LG dryer and is user friendly. I like that it is energy efficient which is so very important. More over it gets my clothes so much cleaner with less product. Easy to maneuver and even has a tub clean setting. Great product great price great money saver.

It doesnt wash as well as my previous set. It doesnt add enough water and it agitates to quick more like a spin on the wash. I have already had to get it repaired as the weight inside broke. Good thing I bought the warranty.

We purchased our LG wash machine about one month ago. There were a few delays on our part such as plumbing hook up problems. I can say now that the machine has been in use there are no regrets. The machine replaces our old LG after seventeen years. The new machine is so much faster and very quieter. It did not take very long to figure out how to operate the numerus control options. We hope to get the similar performance due to LGs reputation.
